:Azeez Adeshina Fashola popularly known with the stage name, Naira Marley is a Nigerian afrobeat singer and songwriter. He was born on the 10th of May 1991 in Agege, Lagos State but moved to London at the age of 11.
He graduated with a distinction in Business from the Peckham University.
In the year 2017, released another hit track titled "Issa Goal" featuring Nigerian rappers, Olamide and Lil Kesh. The song was so popular that it became the theme song for the Super Eagles in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Days after his release from prison, he relaesed his hit single titled " Soapy" which topped the Nigerian charts for weeks. Some of his hit songs includes; Pxta, As E Dey Go, Aye, Japa, Opotoyi, Idi Oremi, Koleyewon, Chi Chi, Coming and many more.
The Marlian President during his show on December 30, 2019 dubbed " Marlian Fest" announced the launch of his record label " Marlian Music" with the signing of acts; Zinoleesky, Mobhad, C Black, and Fabian Blu. Later, artists like Emo Grea, Lyta and Tori Keeche were signed to the label.
In recent developments, Naira Marley has taken to his Instagram story to express his fustration. In the post, the singer lamented over his deleted post.
Accordingto Instagram, the went went against their Community Guidelines on Spam. The singer was further warned that if he doesn't stop, his account will be deleted including his posts, archive, messages and followers.
